Guruvayurappan Idol – Custom 3D Printed Krishna Sculpture for Kerala Devotees
The Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is not merely a temple. It is Bhuloka Vaikunta — the abode of Lord Vishnu on Earth. For millions of devotees across Kerala, South India and the global Malayalam diaspora, Guruvayurappan is the most beloved form of the Lord — the deity who answered Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri's prayer and restored his health, the deity whose Ekadasi draws the largest pilgrimage in Kerala.
Our studio at 3D Divine, FOFUS is located in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur — just 26 kilometres from Guruvayur. This proximity is not incidental. It shapes our understanding of this deity and the devotion He inspires in every household of this region.
The Guruvayurappan Form
Guruvayurappan is worshipped in the Chaturbhuja (four-armed) form of Lord Vishnu, holding the Shankha (conch) in the upper left hand, Sudarshana Chakra (disc) in the upper right, Kaumodaki Gada (mace) in the lower right, and Padma (lotus) in the lower left. The deity stands in the Samapada posture — both feet together — on a lotus pedestal. This is the canonical form worshipped at Guruvayur and replicated in puja rooms across Kerala.
At 3D Divine, we create the Guruvayurappan idol in this exact traditional form, with careful attention to the mudras, the jewellery, the crown (Kirita Makuta), and the Vanamala (forest garland) that are specific to this deity's iconography.
Available Forms
- Chaturbhuja Guruvayurappan — The traditional four-armed standing form. Sizes: 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 30cm. Available in metallic gold, bronze and natural white finishes.

- Guruvayur Devaswom-style Abhishekam piece — Commissioned replicas for families who want a piece that mirrors the deity as seen during Guruvayur Ekadasi abhishekam.
Guruvayur Ekadasi — The Most Auspicious Day for This Idol
Guruvayur Ekadasi, observed in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam (November-December), is the most sacred day at Guruvayur Temple. Hundreds of thousands of devotees travel to Guruvayur on this day. Many families install a new Guruvayurappan idol in their puja room on or before Ekadasi as a new consecration. We take advance orders for Ekadasi from October — order early to ensure your piece is ready for this auspicious day.
As a Religious Gift
A Guruvayurappan idol is one of the most meaningful gifts a Kerala family can give or receive — at weddings, house warmings (Griha Pravesh), baby naming ceremonies (Namakaranam), thread ceremonies, and milestone birthdays. We package all 3D Divine pieces in protective devotional packaging suitable for gifting, with a handwritten description of the deity's significance on request.
