Christ 3D Printing is a FOFUS Launch Pad brand producing high-quality 3D printed Christian devotional products — figurines, wall pieces, church gifts, and personalised religious keepsakes — manufactured at the FOFUS facility in Thommana, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur.

Kerala is home to one of India’s oldest and largest Christian communities, with a rich tradition of devotional art spanning Syrian Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Pentecostal denominations. Christ 3D Printing was built to serve this community with products that match the quality of their faith — detailed, durable, and distinctively Kerala Christian in aesthetic.

The Story

The Christ 3D Printing concept was born from a simple observation: the devotional gift market for Kerala Christians is dominated by imported plastic figurines from China and occasionally expensive hand-carved wood pieces. There is no local Kerala Christian product — nothing that reflects the Syrian cross traditions of Kottayam, the Latin Catholic aesthetic of Thrissur, or the unique visual culture that 2,000 years of Christianity in Kerala has produced.

Christ 3D Printing fills that gap. Every product is designed in-house at FOFUS with reference to Kerala Christian iconographic tradition — the St Thomas Cross, the distinctive Madonna poses of old Thrissur churches, the Infant Jesus forms venerated at Vimalagiri and Manarcad.

Manufacturing Process

Iconographic sourcing — reference images from Kerala church archives, canonical devotional art, and customer-provided images
Digital sculpting — 3D model built in ZBrush with attention to robe draping, facial expression, and hand positions
Prototype print — test piece reviewed for accuracy and finish quality
Production in resin — high-resolution SLA resin printing for facial and fine detail
Hand finishing — sanding, priming, painting in skin tones, robe colors, and gold accents
Personalisation — name, date, and dedication text added on base for gift items
Packaging — velvet-lined gift box with certificate of authenticity
